Listening to 3 Degrees now. Didn't evn realize I had them in my music collection. The lead singer played a school teacher in the musical Fame, that we recently had in Grand Canal Theatre.
Great show it was. I cannot stop expecting something mediocre here, since Dublin is such a village. And it surprized me once again. They've found a great bunch of really talented young lads. They sing without a flaw and they dance so too. Not in the first part tho, but as Anke, who went wih me, smartly pointed out, it was intentional - first days at academy and stuff. It all looked like a constant flow of dance and singing, never going too much into talking (phew!)
And yes, I shed a little (compared to a whale, hihi) tear, when Carmen Diaz rolled out on that caddillac singing "I'm gonna live forever"...
